Supervision Assessment

What are your strengths that are most helpful to staff (teacher)?

I believe my strengths that are most helpful to staff is the fact that I am very understanding. I am always ready to help someone and/or give guidance if needed. I am willing to work as a team yet, still supervise. I am a good listener ; I care about what someone is feeling or thinking, and I would take that into consideration. No one is perfect, and mistakes will happen and I am always mindful of that.

What additional skill would you like to gain?

A skill I would like to gain would be to be a better problem solver. I can solve a problem but, it would take some criticle thinking for me to come to a resolution. I have always been the type to try to stay away from problems and/or conflict. I know that this will be apart of supervision so I need to know better professional ways to deal with this problem.

Core Values

My three core values are respect, honesty, and courage.
I choose respect because without it for yourself and others will make it hard to maintain anything or anyone in your life. I believe that is one reason we have so much negativity going on in so many places. No one gives respect to one another, and that is something I consider a very important value to have.
Honesty will be a value that walks with you everyday of your life. Once a person knows that you are honest and trustworthy, it takes you a long way. You want people to know they are safe and secure with what you say will happen once they put it in your hands,or what ever the case may be. you have to be honest with others and yourself.
Somethings that need to been done cane be a challenge. I believe you have to have the courage to get things accomplished. You have to work hard to get where you need or want to be. Stay head strong and keep the courage and belief needed to succeed.
